  Very nice museum, to discover to understand the history. Very nice welcome ☺️. There are parking spaces, clean toilets available. In Saint-Pierre and towards the Carbet there are good restaurants at affordable prices, and the beach.

  Excellent little museum that traces the volcano disaster well 🌋 Accessibility is top notch with parking in front and disabled spaces. We came a first time for information then a second time to visit, the reception was excellent with the two people. The price for adults is reasonable (8€). Headphones with audio box to use yourself which allows you to go more or less quickly. Very enriching on the few days before, during and after the eruption of the Volcano. Some audios are stories of cards or telegrams, some are chilling. It's quite gripping. I went there without much conviction but I don't regret it at all!

  No support for deaf people, albeit good content. However that content is romantised through a white person eye. Visit with caution.

  It was ok . But my Island was not on the visitors list 🤣 Bonaire Dutch Caribbean 👍

  The museum is small (probably a 40 min visit) bit definitely worth the time! They have plenty of artifacts on display from the 1902 disaster, and the audio tour includes many personal accounts. Definitely brings home the calamity of the event, but is relatively light on the geology / earth science behind the eruption and efforts to learn from it.
